Rebel surrenders to police in Russia’s Ingushetia
INGUSHETIA, 4 October, Caucasus Times: A member of illegal armed formations turned himself in to Ingushetia’s Interior Ministry on Tuesday [3 October], a source in the law-enforcement agencies of the republic reported.
“A resident of the village of Zyazikov-Yurt in Ingushetia’s Malgobekskiy District, Akhmed Nikerkhoyev, 23, voluntarily surrendered”, the source told our agency.
The Ingush prosecutor’s office is checking Akhmed Nikerkhoyev’s involvement in grave crimes.
Moreover, three militants turned themselves in over the last period owing to active work of the prosecutor’s office, the Interior Ministry, the Federal Security Service jointly with public organizations and representatives of the spiritual department with population.
