No casualties in blast in southern Russia
Kabarda-Balkaria, 9 September, Caucasus Times – An improvised explosive device exploded in the southern Russian republic of Kabarda-Balkaria on 9 September.
It added, quoting a source in the local police, that there were no casualties during the blast which occurred at 0230 gmt. The explosive device was planted about 800 m. away from the building housing the special police unit of the republic’s Interior Ministry in the capital Nalchik, the website said. The device might have been equivalent to about 1 kg of trotyl, the website quoted its source as saying.
