Law enforcement agencies cut off supply of illegal drugs to Krasnodar Territory

The regional branch of the Federal security agency in Krasnodar Territory together with the Krasnodar customs officers cut off a supply of narcotics to the region while conducting a preventive operation on illegal drug traffic, “Interfax” agency reports citing the FSB press service.

The FSB said its officers had detained recently two local men of the Krasnodar Territory in Kuschevsky district who were carrying four kg (over 8 lb) of opium extract concealed in their car.
Besides, the officers found some packages of heroin after they had searched the drug dealers’ houses.

The FSB department opened a criminal case against the two drug dealers, who had been charged earlier on a similar narcotics case in the neighboring Stavpopolsky Territory.

The law enforcement agencies conducting the investigation are tracking down another criminals of a gang involved in large-scale drug traffic.
