Ingush President told the problem of the forced migrants from the North Ossetia would be solved this year
INGUSHETIA, 16 March, Caucasus Times. Ingush President Murat Zyazikov confirmed the intention of the Ingush authorities to solve the problem of the forced migrants from the North Ossetia during 2006. According to Zyazikov, one million rubles have been allotted to help the migrants from the North Ossetia with their adaptation and accomodation in Ingushetia.
At present approximately one thousand forced migrants from the North Ossetia are residing on the territory of Ingushetia. Those people had lo leave Prigorodny district of the North Ossetia during the Ossetian-Ingush conflict in 1992.
Speaking about forced migrants from Chechnya, Murat Zyazikov pointed out that the process of their returning back to Chechnya is continuing. At the same time, process of integration of those who decided to stay in Ingushetia, is actively going on.
At present number of the forced migrants from Chechnya on the territory of Ingushetia is estimated at about 50 thousand including those who are ethnic Ingushs.
