Four suspected rebels detained in Russia’s Ingushetia
INGUSHETIA, 9 October, Caucasus Times: Four militants suspected of killing three policemen have been detained in Ingushetia, the republic’s law-enforcement agencies have reported.
All the detainees are residents of Ingushetia’s Malgobekovskiy District. They are being charged with firing on a republican Interior Ministry vehicle in which three policemen were killed and two were wounded.
Apart from the attack, the militants were involved in recruiting young people and hiding caches of weapons, the source said. They are also being suspected of committing crimes in North Ossetia.
