Circassian Congress of Adygea published first issue of its newspaper

ADYGEA, 24 February, Caucasus Times. Circassian Congress of Adygea published first issue of its newspaper “Circassian Congress”. Circulation of the first issue of this newspaper was one thousand copies. Ali Berzegov, head of press service of Circassian Congress, is at the head of editorial board of the newspaper.

Earlier Circassian Congress of Adygea and Karachaevo-Cherkessia launched a joint issue of interregional newspaper under the same title. This newspaper has a circulation of one thousand copies and is distributed in the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkessia, Adygea as well as in the villages of Shapsugia region in the Black Sea coast.

However, leaders of Circassian Congress of Adygea explain the necessity to have their own newspaper by the fact that part of circulation set aside for Adygea is insignificant. Moreover, monthly periodicity of the newspaper cannot satisfy the needs of the readers as well as of the the members of Circassian Congress of Adygea.

Leaders of Circassian Congress are planning to create common pool of information resources which can be used by the local editorial offices for putting together their publications.
