Charity action to raise money for the Beslan victims
STAVROPOL TERRITORY, September 17, Caucasus Times – Local schoolchildren rallied at a meeting in Stavropol Friday to support the victims of recent terror attack at the Middle School No.1 in Beslan in North Ossetia.
The students speaking at the meeting said the aftermath of the school siege turned the most horrible event they had ever seen on television.
Everyone was touched at the meeting when children recited lyrics expressing their emotions caused by the deadly terror attack, calling for peace in the North Caucasus.
Then the students of local schools started a charity auction selling books and toys they had collected to raise money for schoolchildren in Beslan. The money raised at the auction will be handed over to North Ossetia’s authorities.
