INGUSHETIA, OCTOBER 13, Caucasus Times – Since yesterday’s morning security measures at check points on administrative border of Ingushetia with North Ossetia have been tightened. The police and troops regulate traffic at the administrative border, the number of Ingush people coming in and out the North Ossetia has been limited considerably.
The tighten security measures are caused by revenge fears that are still high after a 40-day mourning period ended. The restrictions have triggered some fears among the ethnic Ingush remaining uneasy about the possible outcome.
Meanwhile, the traffic through ‘Chermen bridge’ had been resumed, the Interior Ministry of Ighushetia said in an interview with Caucasus Times correspondent.
