INGUSHETIA, October 24, Caucasus Times – Another terror attack on the federal forces reportedly occurred in Nesterovskaya village of Sunzhensky district of Ingusheita.
Yesterday evening, at about 5 p. m., an remote-controlled explosive dives planted by the road went off while the Russian military vehicles convoy was en route to the military base deployed in Alkun village of Ingushetia, the Caucasus Times correspondent reported, citing the Prosecutor’s office of Sunzhensky district of Ingushetia.
A military KAMAZ truck with Russian servicemen was damaged and the militaries reportedly suffered slight shrapnel wounds in the bombing. One of the soldiers, Victor Podorozhny, received “a blind” shrapnel injury of the left shoulder and was delivered to local hospital.
At the moment the law-enforcement agencies of Sunzhensky district are conducting operational search of alleged suspects linked with the bombing. The district prosecutor’s office has opened a “terrorism” case, which is under investigation.
In this month over, the Russian federal troops have been ambushed four times at the place, the prosecutor’s office said.
