Two wanted criminals detained in Ingushetia

INGUSHETIA, November 24, Caucasus Times – Recently, two criminals wanted by the police were detained in the joint special operation of Ingushetia and Chechnya law-enforcement agencies conducted in Nesterovskaya village of Sunzhensky district in Ingushetia.

The detainees, Khamzat Nukayev,37, resident of Chechnya and Mikhail Kostoyev, 24, local man of Maisky village of North Ossetia, hunted down by the police are charged with kidnapping and participation in illegal guerillas forces in Chechnya.

One of the wanted criminals, Kostoyev rendered fire and received gunshot wound in the head. Eventually, he was delivered to the district hospital.

The police found a Kalashnikov assault rifle with silencer, two magazines at the scene and besides, a car stolen recently in Malgobek.

Case is reportedly open, under investigation.
