INGUSHETIA, January 6, Caucasus Times – Two Federal Security Service officers were injured while they were pursuing a local man Inzor Kodzoyev, suspected by police of participating in a militants’ raid in the republic, in June last year, Caucasus Times reports citing the Interior Ministry of Ingushetia.
In the morning, according to the Interior Ministry, a team of FSB agents surrounded a house where the insurgent hid out and offered to give himself up. Mr. Kodzoyev returned fired injuring two officers. The rebel suffered gunshot injuries but managed to escape. At the moment law enforcement agencies are pursuing the criminal, the police said.
