Three locals reported abducted recently in Ingushetia

INGUSHETIA, February 18, Caucasus Times – Three local residents have been abducted over this week, Caucasus Times quoted a worker of the Chechen Committee for National Salvation as saying.

The human rights organization reported an abduction case in Pliyevo village of Nazran district of a 30-year-old local man Adam Gorchkhanov, who was seized by unknown men in uniform February 11 nearby a fire station. The man had a small computer business.

Another report came February 16 from Kantyshevo village from the same district of Ingushetia where two local residents were detained in a sweep by a “power structure” agents. The detainees’ whereabouts are still unknown. “We are trying to verify their names,” the worker of the rights organization said.
