Students at Kaspyysk schools get ID’s to attend classes

DAGESTAN, October 1, Caucasus Times – The municipality and department of education of Kaspyysk have issued an instruction the schoolchildren should offer the school guards their IDs at the entrance to be allowed in. The administration explained the order was issued for better security at schools. The principals have had a deal with “Tarzan,” a private security agency whose guards armed with nightsticks will be patrolling the schools.

The initiative has turned out popular in the republic’s capital as well. The city government officials said they also decided to issue plastic coated IDs, which had proved to be effective at a local school.
