Rally to observe the date of deportation of Vainakh people and other victims of Stalin’s regime

PRAGUE, February 22, Caucasus Times – A meeting to commemorate those killed by Stalin’s repressive rule is to held February 23. The people are going to rally near the monument of victims of Stalin’s regime in Prague to observe the 61st anniversary of deportation of Ingushi and Chechens ordered by the dictator back in 1944. The meeting was organized by several Czech rights and humanitarian groups, Caucasus Times reported citing the “Berkat” humanitarian organization and its director Petra Prohaska, a well-known journalist.

Hundreds of local people gather here at the meeting annually to remind of the crimes committed by the Communist and other regimes to prevent them in future.
