Ingushetia’s President approves Security Council staff

INGUSHETIA, September 29, Caucasus Times – The President of Ingushetia Murat Ziazikov has sanctioned the structure and staff of Ingushetia’s Security Council by his decree No.219, presidential office said Wednesday in interview with Caucasus Times correspondent.

The newly formed organization is intended to coordinate executive power bodies, heads of “power structures” agencies, civil defense, officers of security in economy, local legislature and the government. Bashir Aushev, former deputy prime-minister of Ingusheita’s government was appointed the secretary of Security Council.

“The primary objective of the Council will be the coordination of law enforcement bodies of the republic to maintain security of a citizen, society and the republic. All three departments of the Council will be supervising a particular sphere of activity, such as the department on economical problems, department on executive bodies and department controlling law enforcement agencies, troops and military draft boards,” Caucasus Times correspondent quoted a source in the President’s administration office as saying, ” 26 officials will be working in the staff of Security Council on regular basis.”
