Federal Securities sweep office of Czech humanitarian mission
INGUSHETIA, February 5, Caucasus Times – About ten agents of Federal Security Services broke into the office of a Czech humanitarian mission and conducted a search, Caucasus Times correspondent reports citing a worker of the mission on condition of anonymity. The officers checked data base and the personal identification of the organization’s workers. As the federal securities did not find what they searched for they left the office.
The Czech humanitarian organization had been working in the region since 2001 delivering humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons from Chechnya. The organization relief project has helped to supply the people in need with food, building materials and medicines.
